Exploration 02 – Human Mask Textured Membrane – Hexagonal grid

Experimenting how a shape can be morphed along a surface membrane when being joined at the different faces of a shape.

Then experimenting with the natural honeycomb texture of consistent repeating hexagons of inner fillet hexagons.

Using a hexagonal grid with controllable fillet offset in every hexagon.

Using a bounding box placed, such that the patterns can be repeated when connected.

Also, trying to project polylines as face contours to form strips that could possibly be realised in folded paper.
