So once you’ve accepted the invitations using your own wordpress account, your account is now linked to this blog as Editors.
This is important. You guys can create posts and pages. Posts and pages are different; posts appear on the home page like blog posts, while pages are essentially, well, pages, like that of normal websites. Most of your submissions will be as PAGES. Posts are reserved for instructors to announce stuff, you know, not-so-static stuff.
So here’s a quick and dirty instructional for you guys:
To create a new page, go on your page dashboard click on pages, and click on any add new button
On the Add New Page screen, make sure you select, under Parent, your Name, under Student Pages.
Sometimes, there will be templates for certain posts/assignments. If so, it will be mentioned in the brief. Remember to check and start from the appropriately named template. The template selector is under parent drop-down menu.
Once you’re done, preview and publish your post!
